Tips On Weight Loss: My Experience


I always have a lot of people ask me how to lose fat and how to lose weight so I am sharing some tips with you on how to do that. Obviously the main one is diet but I am going to share others besides diet.

  1. Water Intake

It is so important to make sure you are getting enough water in you. Our body is made up of about 65% of water. If you were to get a coach they are going to tell you to drink at least a gallon of water a day. Water helps flush out body waste and eliminates toxins. Water also helps transport valuable nutrients to the body. Drinking enough water a day can help decrease your chances of getting cancer. I could go on all day why water is important… Drink your water people.

  1. Sleep More & Stress Less

I know it is super easy to get stressed out about anything but when you stress out your body likes to hold fat and water. Surround yourself with the things that you enjoy and make you happy and positive people. When you do not sleep your stress levels rise and that is associated with fat gain. Not getting enough sleep your body needs can undo the benefits of dieting. When your body is sleep deprived it suffers from metabolic grogginess. Lack of sleep also makes you crave food so get your sleep.

  1. Limit Your Alcohol Intake

If you looked up on MyFitnessPal all the mixed drinks you had the night before I promise it will make you not want to drink anymore. I rarely drink now because I would rather eat my calories. When you order shots it has who knows what in it. Fat metabolism also takes a hold on the break down of alcohol. It can cause a build up of fatty acids. Maybe just try lower your drinking intake little by little.

  1. Eat More Complex Carbs

Complex carbs are slower digesting like rice, oatmeal, potatoes. Stay away from the simple carbs like juices, sodas and fruits they break down quickly into sugar. Fruit is still okay to have just in moderation.
