Healthy Snack Cravings

Good morning sunshines! Today on the blog I am talking about food once again lol. But I always love finding new ways to find healthy options when I am craving sweets. That’s probably like everyday.

  1. Arctic Zero Ice Cream & Power Crunch Bar

This is a great option. I love ice cream so much but Arctic Zero is a much healthier option. Less carbs, fats, and sugars. It still tastes just as good. I love power crunch bars because they have great macros for a protein bar and also that wafer taste is perfect.

  1. Quest Nutrition Protein Cookies

So I tested out the other day making protein cookies with just a Quest bar and omg let me tell you they turned out great. I just cut up a chocolate chip cookie dough quest bar into 8 pieces and preheat the over to 325 degrees and put them in there for 3 minutes. After the 3 minutes I take them out and smush them and then put them back in for 3 more minutes. There are so many different flavors of Quest bars that you can use for this.

  1. Strawberry Protein Smoothie

In the summer time I love fruits. I don’t eat too much fruit just because they are higher in sugar but I like to incorporate a small amount a couple times a week. I have been adding a cup of strawberries to my protein shake & it is life changing. Seriously so yummy. Just add vanilla protein powder, ice, ½ cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 cup strawberries, and then ¼ cup of oats is what I have been doing. This is also a great drink to take and have by the pool!
